- All equipment & instruments, including metal cups and drills, are changed after every patient. To do this, we keep a large inventory of instruments.
- All instruments are cleaned in an ultrasonic machine to remove visible debris, and then sterilized in a medical autoclave, under pressurised steam at a temperature of 134 ° C
- Items like injection needles and blades are thrown away after a single use. These discarded items are taken away by a licensed contractor and incinerated separately as medical waste.
- Surfaces like table-tops, the dental chair and attached equipment are wiped with disinfectant.
- Our infection control procedures have been audited by the Ministry of Health.
