Dr Tiju Krishnan graduated from Glasgow University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery.

Dr Krishnan spent most of his early years at the National Heath Service (NHS), United Kingdom (UK) working in general practice where he gained invaluable experience in oral surgery, restorative dentistry, pedodontics, prosthodontics and endodontics. He has had experience in adopting hypnotherapy techniques that are useful in dealing with very anxious and dentally-phobic patients. He was attached to Glasgow Royal Infirmary in oral surgery, dental Implantology at Perth Royal Infirmary as well as the Resident Dental Officer at the Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline providing weekend/out-of-hours emergency dental services for patients with acute pain/dental trauma.
His later years in the UK were based in Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh where he worked as a General Dental Practitioner in private practice before relocating to Singapore in 2001. Since then, Dr Krishnan had spent the last 22 years working with NTUC Health Denticare. In 2006, he was appointed Practice Manager at Ang Mo Kio Branch and also served as the Clinical Advisory Board Member for NTUC Healthcare Group from 2014 to 2016.
Dr Krishnan finds great satisfaction in improving the oral health, function and smiles of all patients and is committed to providing comprehensive dental care and experience with a meticulous and caring approach. He believes that his experience in hypnotherapy and relaxation techniques ensure that all his patients feel comfortable around him from the very first appointment.
Additional Areas of Interest
Dr Krishnan enjoys travelling and attending dental conferences around the world. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and diving. He is currently in the midst of completing his US and UK Private Pilots Licence.
