Dr. Serene earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2004 and a Graduate Diploma in Dental Implantology in 2011 from the National University of Singapore, Faculty of Dentistry.

Dr. Serene is SMART (Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique) certified by the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), a certification that reflects her training in specific protocols for the removal of dental materials.
