About

Education & Achievements

Dr Peter Loughran studied at the University of Dundee’s School of Dentistry in Scotland. It is among the leading dental schools in the UK and is known particularly for its paediatric department. He graduated with a BDS in 2012 and began his journey as a dentist committed to improving the patient experience.

Dr Peter has since accrued 10 years of experience, split evenly between the UK and Australia and between public and private dentistry. He also spent time working pro bono in both Peru in public practice and hospital settings, along with private practice in Canada

Specialities & Services Provided

Dr Peter’s focus as a dentist is always the patient. In addition to improving his skills and knowledge and leveraging technology, he ensures that listening to your concerns and addressing them are central to your experience. His passion is to help create your best smile in the most comfortable way.

While training in Dundee, he worked with professors who wrote a textbook on managing children's dentistry – which led him to excel in this area. These skills also allow him to work better with anxious patients and those who have had poor dentist experiences in the past.

Dental education is a key tenet of Dr Peter’s practice because prevention should always be our first line of defence.

Additional Areas of Interests

Dr Peter loves food, travel, music and sport. He spent several years training in both Brazilian jiu-jitsu martial art and Gaelic football.
