About

Education & Achievements

Dr Zhang graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a BDS dental degree in 2007. He served in public institutions such as National Healthcare Group Polyclinics (NHGP), treating the general population at the primary care level, and Health Promotion Board (HPB) School Dental Centre, where challenging young children were treated.

Dr Zhang moved into private practice in 2012. As a dentist, he engages in continual education, overseas and locally, to serve his patients. He is an alumni member of the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies, having trained under renowned dentists such as Dr Ron Jackson. He has also attended the comprehensive orthodontic course by world-renowned Dr Derek Mahony.

Memberships & Associations

Dr Zhang holds memberships in the Singapore Dental Association, the Aesthetic Dentistry Society of Singapore and the College of General Dental Practitioners Singapore, helping him keep in touch with the newest dentist-level developments.

Services Provided

Dr Zhang has special interests in Implant Dentistry and Orthodontics, including Pitts 21 passive self-ligating braces, Invisalign clear aligners, and Myobrace myofunctional orthodontics.

Additional Areas of Interests

Dr Zhang believes in restoring a person's dental health to enhance overall health while providing a pain-free and stress-free experience to the best of his abilities and enjoys treating patients of all ages. He spends time to educate patients on how to prevent dental problems, thereby promoting a holistic outcome — a value he upholds strongly as a dentist.

He is married with two children and loves to spend time with his family or have a tennis or football game.
